David Clare - Caricatures
Caricatures by David Clare are individually created to provide a unique and humorous way to celebrate a special person or occasion, whether that be a Birthday, Wedding or Retirement Gift or any other special day.
My caricatures are not malicious or mocking. I attempt to provide humour within the caricature while ensuring that the recipient of the finished caricature will want to display it for all to see.

There are a couple of ‘must haves’ to enable me to create a likeness of the recipient and add personal touches to the caricature.
I must have a good sized facial photo of the recipient. This should ideally be a 4 x 6 inch (100 x 152 mm) ‘head shot’ plus a full body photo.
I must know the eye colour of the recipient and hair colour.
I must have a list of interests (sports, hobbies etc.), likes, dislikes, favourite items, favourite clothes and any other objects or items that give a reflection of the person being caricatured.
I must have at least four weeks notice to allow for the artwork to be done and posted in good time.
I cannot guarantee that I will include all your suggestions in the finished caricature but providing you tell me the main things I will do my best.
